Was warned about urinating in Kings Park the other day. Sadly, was caught short after pub visit. This is ludicrous! The amount of dogs I saw taking a leak up a tree, but when it comes to me.. threat of a fine! It's human nature. I wish I could control my bladder but I can't! If a poodle can't, no bother, but me, threat of an on the spot fine! Anyway, I heard if you went against a tree it was ok and could ensure you avoid action. Any other Retford residents agree it's time to drop this kind of action?

Fine... but urine is urine. Surely dogs could be made to relieve themselves into a plastic bottle or some similar device. Don't see why I should be punished and dog owners can let their mutts urinate everywhere.

Can you imagine if everyone (men and women) were allowed to urinate in public?

Agree we cannot have people urinating wherever they please. There is a similar "old wives tale" amongst lorry drivers that urinating "on the wheel" is legal, see this happening quite often. To be serious are there enough public toilets in Retford ? are they in the right place(s)? and are they open enough hours?
My wife was recently told to use a pub when she asked a policeman where the nearest public toilet was in town early evening - we cannot expect businesses to provide these facilities for non customers.

Good point there about public loos and businesses - thank you for your thoughts, and I'll be interested to see what everyone thinks.
