What do we all think to plans for improvements to Kings' Park, Retford Cemetery and council houses, highlighted in this year's district council budget?

I understand they're looking at building public loos in the cemetery and revamping the bandstand in Kings' Park....
Kings' Park is definitely a real asset in Retford so, I guess all improvements are a good thing? What does everyone reckon?

Yeah. I think plans whatever they are will always be pulled apart by someone won't they especially when it's a financial issue, as we've all got different ideas on what the priorities should be. It's a tough job? I certainly wouldn't want to be involved in council budget planning in the current climate!

Yes it must be really difficult having thousands of pounds to spend on whatever you like......!?

It's not whatever they like! It's what they either need to do or what local people have said they want to see...

    Now now ladies! :)
It surely does reflect at least in part, what local people have said...the council is always seeking feedback, gives people plenty of opportunity to raise their voice, if they don't bother that's their fault?!? :0 !

I reckon if we were involved in budget planning we would all just argue! :)
