I think we should encourage travellers to use Kings Park. The traveling community could provide a big boost to our retailers if we encourage them to spend in our town centre. There are lots of travellers out there with nowhere to go. That patch of land near the skate park would be ideal for a permanent site to house their caravans. It makes sense. Rather than spend money we haven't got on building houses, we can boost our population and our coffers quickly by encouraging travelers to use the site. I am going to write to the council to recommend they follow my proposals. It will be cheap. We only need to install drainage and concrete over the grass. The skate park can stay, so the kids will be happy too.
