I'd love to know what your likes and dislikes are about Retford. How can we make this a better town than it already is?

Here, here....come on everyone use your website to shout up good and bad things about the town and suggest improvements :)
(I think Retford's pretty good....but that's just me!)

One idea I have heard - do we need a shopping centre like Marshal's Yard?
What would we like to see in place of the old Focus store....?
Ideas please..... :)

In my shop ALL people want free parking. It is a big issue with my customers.
I think the independents are doing a brilliant job we have some lovely different shops and with Kings Gift and Coffee shop coming has added more reasons to come to Retford.

My customers come from all over because of the good quality shops that Retford offer. So Bassetlaw District Council does, and must keep supporting the independents, as we are the future.

Qualities that Retford offer is the park, the canal, the museum, the history, the 3 markets.

Lots of customers ask about the history, why not organize a history walk, with a speaker and then coffee and cake at one of the cafes (alternating the cafes rather than the same ones every time.

We have a lots of elderly visitors so let them have a brilliant history afternoon.
