Residents in Laneham are being asked to be vigilant after a house in the village was broken into and items stolen following two unfamiliar vans being seen in the area - representatives of the local Safer Neighbourhood teams are today calling door-to-door asking residents if they saw or heard anything suspicious last week or over the weekend.

Any local residents with information about this or other unusual behaviour is asked to contact Notts Police.....and please be on your guard while thieves are in the locality.
