Major delays between Retford and Newark tonight have caused havoc and massive delays of hours, did anyone get caught up in it?

I did! If it's like this now what's it going to be like next week over Easter? I guess roadworks were to blame. Why do they always pick the busiest time of the year to dig up the roads?!

Very interesting point so it is not only the railway that has delays for signal failure but also it seems to be getting more congested on the roads, so there was no way of avoiding it, Not good! Sorry you were caught up in it all and I hope it improves next week.
