The Nature Reserve is open throughout the year.
Car Park 8am-8pm May to October, 9am-5pm October to April
Reception at learning Centre 10am-4pm 7 daya a week. Cafe weekend 11.30am-2.pm

From special workshops, talks and walks for nature lovers to a varied programme of family-themed events all year round there is always plenty going on at Idle Valley. A cafe and information about the charity and activities is available to visitors in the information centre where you can also enjoy gorgeous views of the reserve and maybe do a spot of bird-watching. Take a walk around the reserve to see a variety of wildlife enjoying this wonderful habitat. By visiting and supporting events at the reserve you are helping to protect wildlife for future generations to enjoy. This is a fantastic facility and attraction in Retford - Call in for details of forthcoming activities and you are bound to find something the whole family can enjoy.

The Nature Reserve managed by Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust and runs a programme of training, educational and leisure activities.
