Police searching for missing Donal

POLICE are growing increasingly worried for the safety of man who was reported missing yesterday (Monday, April 15).

Friends of Donal Whelan say the 48-year-old has not been seen at his home in Lincoln Road, Newark, for more than a week.

The last known sighting was on Monday, April 8 in the Newark area.

Mr Whelan is described as white, of medium build, with short, straight black hair. He has an Irish accent.

Enquiries are ongoing but anyone who knows where Mr Whelan is or who has information is asked to contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111
