Parents can go to lessons

ADULTS looking to improve their literacy and numeracy skills are being invited to a Tuxford Academy 'Helping with Homework' course.

The course is open to anyone, though the school says it will be particularly helpful to parents in need of more confidence to help their children with school work.

Sessions will be run by a provider from Dukeries College, and students will work towards an accredited numeracy or literacy qualification.

The course, which is still being finalised, will run at 3.30pm or 6.30pm to accommodate as many as possible.
