Introducing some new faces as our team grows

THE Retford Times has welcomed three new recruits to its West Street offices this month.

Joining the news team is trainee reporter Grace Newton. Grace is from Doncaster and has recently qualified as a journalist after studying history at the University of York. She is primarily a news reporter but also has a keen interest in sport and feature writing.

"I've been here a couple of weeks now and I've settled in well - it's a good team to be part of and I already feel like I'm getting to know the local issues and characters!"

Meanwhile the commercial sales team has gained two new team members who have now completed their induction periods.

New field sales advisor Nicola Higson, from Retford, has a background in sales and experience of dealing with customers both face-to-face and on the phone.

"I've enjoyed the induction and I'm getting into the role now – I'm enjoying the challenge."

Law graduate Camilla Satchell, also from Retford, will specialise in digital sales after recently graduating from Coventry University.

"I don't have a sales background but I'm looking forward to getting stuck in and getting to know the customers."
